July 24-27 Jill, Brandon and the kids drove down from Provo and spent the weekend with us in Parowan. Our ward had a Navajo taco dinner on the 24th (Pioneer Day in Utah) so Jill and family indulged me and we went to the dinner. The ward is really small and tight knit but everyone has been so nice and they've made us feel very welcome. It was a fun weekend ... George, Brandon and the kids took a long ride on the four-wheelers one afternoon; Jake, Zoi and Ty fished, we played games, put a puzzle together, visited and consumed a lot of snacks! Jake wanted to learn to drive stick shift, so Brandon took him out and taught him in the old car. Thanks Mark, that old car is just perfect for Parowan! We love spending time with our children/grandchildren whenever possible and there's never a dull moment when we're together.
